
Joe Perry is a well-known player in snooker. British snooker player. He has had a few seasons at the lower levels of the game. He has also spent a few seasons at the top of the game. In 2002, he reached the Top 16 for the first time. He has however spent three seasons not in the top 20.
Joe Perry is known as both "the Fen Potter", and "the Gentleman". He is a Cambridgeshire resident and became professional in 1992. He's been a fulltime professional since 2003. Ken, his brother was also a professional.
Perry is a regular presence on the world stage, although he hasn't won a major ranking competition. In 2011, he was among the top eight provisional ranking for the first time. In 2015, he won a minor rank event. He competed with Ronnie O'Sullivan in a battle at the Masters.

Perry has participated in both the UK Championship finals as well the European Open finals. He also reached the quarter-finals at the World Championship. He reached semi-finals in the UK Championship in 2004 and lost to David Gray. He beat Judd Trump in the semi-finals, but lost to Stephen Hendry at the final.
He began his snooker life at the age 12 and became a top professional in early 1990s. He reached the finals of the European Open in 2001. In spring 2001, he won in Wales the Open. After that, he played in the Wuxi Classic in 2014.
In the same year, he defeated Matthew Stevens, Marco Fu, and Jamie Cope to reach the semi-finals in the World Championship. He received his second ranking award. Later that year, he participated in both the Welsh Open (Xuzhou Open) and the Xuzhou Open. He had fallen to a lowly 14th place in the standings at the end.
Despite losing to Graeme Dott and Stephen Hendry, he has managed to secure a place in the top half of the world rankings. He has won three major tournaments on his path to the top: the Welsh Open Masters Masters, the Xuzhou Open Open, and the Welsh Open Masters Masters. And he has also run courses to teach people how to play the game.

During his career, he has made a number of attempts to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan. He won a 9-5 victory during the first round, 2008 UK Championship. He was just one frame away of the Masters finals in 2017, but lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
He beat Mark Selby in round one of the 2018 World Championship. He also won the Xuzhou Open in 2015. He also has several courses and is a BBC guest commentator.
