The pool movies are a collection of film, television and video games based on the game of pool. These movies have a variety in action and players. These movies can be serious or funny. No matter your level of expertise, there are great options.

Many films are about human drama. There are many great action scenes. Many pool movies feature trick shots. Trick shots are those special moves that show creativity and mastery in some tough spots. They are usually not seen during a game, but they are very popular in pool movies.

Walter Tevis also wrote "The Hustler", a classic. Although originally a short story about the movie, it was made into a 1961 classic. Its success led to a revival of billiards. The movie is credited with this sport's recovery.

The Baltimore Bullet, "The Color of Money" and "The Baltimore Bullet are other noteworthy pool movies. Both films are excellent but the former is more enjoyable. The Baltimore Bullet features Willie Mosconi who is a legendary pool shark and has been inducted into The BCA Hall of Fame.
