Dafabet is also the title sponsor for the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. It was the title sponsor of World Pool Masters 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Gibraltar will host the 2020 World Pool Masters. It will feature 24 of the best players in the world and a $100,000 prize pool. Matchroom Pool Club subscribers get tickets on Monday December 9, and the general public on Tuesday December 10. David Alcaide last year was the champion and will be defending his title against a top-notch field of players.

Dafabet has extended its title sponsorship deal for the World Pool Masters. The tournament will be held from 22 to 25 Mai 2019 in Gibraltar. The company was a title sponsor of the World Pool Masters in 2017 and 2018. Dafabet has also signed other sponsorship deals. In the past, Dafabet has partnered both with LaLiga's football tournament and with Durham's Sussex cricket side.
Dafabet World Pool Masters consists of an international nine-ball pool contest. It is one of the most loved events in its genre, with an increasing amount of money available each year for the winners. The event's prize fund this year was $100,000. David Alcaide (Spaniard) won the tournament. Alcaide beat Alexander Kazakis of Greece by twice the length in the final. In the previous year's event, Niels Feijen reached the final by defeating Shane Van Boening. In the first round, David Alcaide was also defeated by the Dutchman.
Joshua Filler
Joshua Filler, a Bonen-based German pool player, is making waves within the professional pool world. The 21-year-old has won the China Open and the 10-ball European Pool Championships. He is also the youngest person to win one of these two competitions. He not only won the China Open but is also the youngest European Pool Championships winner.
Filler started playing the sport aged seven and was already competing on the national level. At twenty-two, Filler was able to make his Mosconi Cup debut. He also represented Europe at the event. After his Mosconi Cup appearance, he went on to win the China Open 9-ball tournament and the ten-ball European Pool Championship. In the final, he defeated Italian Carlo Biado to win his first world championship. In addition to winning the World Pool Masters, he also won the Mosconi Cup, the World Cup of Pool, and the US Open Pool Championship.
Lo Ho-sum
The first Hong Kong pool player to reach the final at World Pool Masters, Lo Ho-sum, has expressed concerns about a recent budget cut. Despite his recent success in the sport, he remains relatively unknown outside of his homeland. Lo, a wild-card entry into the Gibraltar tournament was successful in a string matches that led to him reaching the final. In the quarterfinals, he defeated Shane Van Boening but fell to Joshua Filler. Before Lo's heroics, the pair was tied at six.
The World Pool Masters is a nineball competition that is held every year in order to determine the best pool players worldwide. The original event was held in Europe. However, it has expanded to include players of other parts. Lo has a great professional record, and has maintained a top ranking throughout his entire career.
Sanchez Ruiz
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, a Spanish player, has won the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. In the final, he defeated Max Lechner (13-10). This win elevates Sanchez Ruiz to the top of the Live Nineball World Rankings. In addition, it earns him $50,000 in first prize. It also makes Sanchez Ruiz the first Spanish player to win one of pool's oldest majors. Sanchez Ruiz also passed Shane Van Boening with this win, pushing him over the $100,000 mark.
Sanchez Ruiz had to battle through a number of tough moments against Filler. He was able to overcome his initial nervousness and win after making two consecutive racks. Sanchez Ruiz took a three point lead over Filler, but he was able to hold on for a two-rack buffer.
