The rules of table shuffleboard can seem a little confusing to those just starting. It is a good idea, if you are new to the game of table shuffleboard, to get familiar with the basic rules before starting to play. There are many versions of shuffleboard. Each has their own rules. Crazy Eight is a more difficult version of shuffleboard. The unique scoring system awards points in different ways.

Table shuffleboard has one rule. Each player can only score once per round. In most games, the winner is the player with 15 or more points. These players have the option to shoot another round. Another option is to take a shot at the "hammer shot", which is the final shot in any round.

Your first goal in a game of shuffleboard is to get your ball closest to the end. By moving your puck from its edge to the center, you can accomplish this. To do this, you will need to slide it along its edge. It's important that you stand behind your opponent when you're ready for shooting.

After the puck lands, it is a good idea for you to push it into scoring position. Once the puck has landed in the desired spot, it can be pushed forward or backwards to ensure it scores. You should keep your foot on the ground behind it.

Each player has three scoring zones. Each zone award players different amounts. For example, the first zone will award one point per puck that is landed in its designated zone. The second zone offers two points for each puck. The third section gives three points for each puck. The puck must cross the line between "2" and "3" areas to score in the third area.

The last scoring area, located at the bottom of the table across from the foul line, is the one that crosses the middle. Pucks that don't clear the foul line will be out of game. If the puck lands in the correct area, it is worth zero points.

Pucks can be numbered. You can inspect if your puck is on the line by standing over it. To increase their chances of winning, they can push pucks into higher scoring positions.

Knock Off is a popular version of shuffleboard that can be played with up to four players. Crazy Eight is another popular variant, similar to classic games.
