Rotation Pool is a game of billiards that uses a standard pool table and a cueball. Rotation Pool is similar to ten and nine-ball, in that the players can pocket the lowest number of balls on the table first. It has its own rules that are in addition to the General Rules of Pocket Billiards.
Rotation pool rules follow the point system. The player who has the most balls at the end of a frame wins. The numerical values of pool balls are determined by a point schedule, which can be anywhere from one to fifteen. Players can also use other handicapping systems. For example, players who pocket a lower value ball can only pocket a higher value ball on the same shot. This makes it possible for different players to have a different point total.

Rotation Pool can be played on a rack of billiards that is triangular in shape. The lower-value balls on the table are usually pocketed first and the higher-value balls are kept on the same play. In addition, the balls are randomly placed on the rack. The balls in the upper third of the rack are called "money balls", and are given dollar amounts.
The game of rotation pool can be considered gambling. Points are awarded for the player who collects the most balls. Depending on the rules of the game, the highest score can earn a share of the game kitty, which is usually at stake. There are many tournaments, leagues and competitions to play in the rotation pool. Most tournaments are held in multiple rounds. The top finishers advance to next round. They can also be played in one elimination bracket.
There are many types and variations of rotation pool games. The most common is the ten ball pool. The player must legally pocket the eight balls in this game. If a player fails the eight ball, he/she is eliminated. The player who pockets the eighth ball, however, is considered to have made the shot. The player then gets a ball to play their first shot after the break.
Rotation pool is a different game to pool. A player must hit the ball with the lowest number on the table first. All other balls are out of play. The player who has the last ball must make the shot. Before the next shot, fouls must be called by the player. Faults include knocking an object ball off the table, failing to legally pocket an object ball, or failing to contact a numbered ball with the cue ball. Fouls are classified according to how often they are committed. If the foul is repeated three times, the player will be removed from the frame.

Rotation Pool may be played up to 4 people. It is generally played in a league with players. League organizers will pay a fee for the right of organizing and promoting the sport.
