Dafabet will be once again the title sponsor for the World Pool Masters. Dafabet, an online sports betting site, is a partner to a number of prominent sports brands, such as Celtic FC (Norway City FC), Warwickshire County Cricket Team and Warwickshire County Cricket Team. Dafabet also sponsors the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. It previously served as title sponsor of the World Pool Masters in 2017 and 2019.
Gibraltar will host the 2020 World Pool Masters. This tournament will feature 24 top players from around the world for a $100,000 prize. Matchroom Pool Club subscribers get tickets on Monday December 9, and the general public on Tuesday December 10. David Alcaide (last year's champion) will be seeking to defend his title versus a great field of stars.
Dafabet Master of Pool
Dafabet has extended the title sponsorship deal for World Pool Masters. The tournament will take places in Gibraltar 22-25 May 2019. The title sponsor of World Pool Masters 2017, 2018 and 2018, Dafabet was also present. Dafabet also offers sponsorship deals for other sports. The company has previously partnered with La Liga football tournament, as well as the Sussex cricket side Durham.

Dafabet World Pool Masters, an international pool competition with nine balls, is held annually. It is the most well-known event of its type, with an increase in the prize money each year. The prize fund for the event this year was $100,000. David Alcaide (Spaniard) won the tournament. In the final, Alcaide beat Greek Alexander Kazakis by double the final ball's length. Niels Féijen beat Shane Van Boening last year to reach the final of the previous year’s event. David Alcaide also lost to the Dutchman in round 1.
Joshua Filler
Joshua Filler, a Bonen-based German pool player, is making waves within the professional pool world. Filler, 21, has won the China Open title and the European Pool Championships 10-ball. He is the youngest person ever to win these two competitions. He won the China Open and is also the youngest winner of the European Pool Championships.
Filler began playing the sport at seven years of age and was already competing at the National level. At age twenty, he made his Mosconi Cup debut and represented Europe at the event. He won the China Open 9-ball tournament as well as the European Pool Championship ten-ball. The next year, he won his first world championship, defeating Italian Carlo Biado in the final. He not only won his first World Pool Masters championship, but also won the Mosconi Cup.
Lo Hosum
Lo Ho-sum is the first Hong Kong pool players to reach the World Pool Masters final. He is still relatively unknown outside his home country despite his recent success in the sport. Lo was a wild-card participant in the Gibraltar tournament and won a series of matches to reach final. In the quarterfinals, Lo defeated Shane Van Boening. But, in the final, he lost to Joshua Filler. Lo's heroics saw the pair tie at six.

The World Pool Masters is a nine-ball competition held every year to determine the world's best pool players. The event was first held in Europe but expanded to include players from other parts of the world. Lo has a very solid professional record. He has also maintained a high ranking all through his career.
Sanchez Ruiz
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz is the winner of the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. His victory over Max Lechner was 13-10. This win elevates Sanchez Ruiz to the top of the Live Nineball World Rankings. In addition, it earns him $50,000 in first prize. Sanchez Ruiz is also the first Spanish player ever to win one of the oldest majors in pool. Sanchez Ruiz's win also saw him surpass Shane Van Boening at the $100,000 mark.
Sanchez Ruiz had a lot of difficult moments against Filler. But he was able get over his initial nerves to win the game after completing two racks consecutively. Sanchez Ruiz came out on top with a 2-rack buffer, after Filler had fought back.
