Dafabet will once again be the title sponsor of the World Pool Masters. The online sports betting operator is a partner with a host of high-profile sports brands, including Celtic FC, Norwich City FC, Durham County Cricket Team, and Warwickshire County Cricket Team. Dafabet also sponsors The British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. It was the title sponsorship of the World Pool Masters in 2017-2018 and 2019.
The 2020 World Pool Masters will be held in Gibraltar, featuring 24 of the world's best players for a $100,000 prize fund. Tickets for the tournament will go on sale on Monday, December 9 to Matchroom Pool Club subscribers and on Tuesday, December 10, to the general public. Last year's champion, David Alcaide, will be looking to defend his title against a world-class field of stars.
Dafabet World pool Masters
Dafabet has renewed its title sponsorship agreement for the World Pool Masters. The tournament will be held from 22 to 25 Mai 2019 in Gibraltar. The company was a title sponsor of the World Pool Masters in 2017 and 2018. Dafabet also has sponsorship deals in other sports. In the past, Dafabet has partnered both with LaLiga's football tournament and with Durham's Sussex cricket side.
The Dafabet World Pool Masters is an international nine-ball pool competition. It is the most popular event of its kind, and it has increased the prize money for the winner each year. The prize money for this year's event was $100,000. David Alcaide, an American, won the tournament. Alcaide beat Alexander Kazakis from Greece in the final by doubling the length of his final ball. Joshua Filler
Joshua Filler, a Bonen-based German pool player, is making waves within the professional pool world. Filler, 21 years old, has won the China Open as well as the European 10-ball Pool Championships. He is also the youngest person to win one of these two competitions. He won the China Open and is also the youngest winner of the European Pool Championships.
Filler started playing the sport at age seven and was already competing at the national level. At the age of twenty-five, Filler made his Mosconi Cup debut. Europe was represented at the event. He won the China Open 9-ball tournament as well as the European Pool Championship ten-ball. In the final, he defeated Italian Carlo Biado to win his first world championship. He not only won his first World Pool Masters championship, but also won the Mosconi Cup.
Lo Ho'sum
Lo Ho-sum, the first Hong Kong pool player, reached the World Pool Masters Finals. Despite his recent success in pool, he is still relatively unknown beyond his homeland. Lo, a wild-card entry into the Gibraltar tournament was successful in a string matches that led to him reaching the final. He defeated Shane Van Boening in the quarterfinals but lost to Joshua Filler in the final. The pair tied at six-all before Lo's heroics came to an end.
The World Pool Masters is a nineball competition that is held every year in order to determine the best pool players worldwide. The original event was held in Europe. However, it has expanded to include players of other parts. Lo has a very strong professional record and has maintained a good ranking throughout his career.
Sanchez Ruiz
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz won the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. He defeated Max Lechner 13-10 in final. The win puts him at the top of the Live Nineball World Rankings and earns him $50,000 in the first prize. Sanchez Ruiz is also the first Spanish player ever to win one of the oldest majors in pool. Sanchez Ruiz's win also saw him surpass Shane Van Boening at the $100,000 mark.
Sanchez Ruiz had many difficult moments against Filler. However, he was able to overcome his initial nerves and roared to victory after making two consecutive racks. After Filler fought back to take a three-point lead, Sanchez Ruiz managed to run out with a two-rack buffer.
