Joe Perry is an ace snooker player. British snooker player. He has had a few seasons at the lower levels of the game. But he has also had a couple of seasons in the top reaches of the game. He made it to the Top 16 of the game in 2002. He has however spent three seasons not in the top 20.

Joe Perry is known as both "the Fen Potter", and "the Gentleman". He is a native of the Cambridgeshire area and became a professional in 1992. Since 2003, he has been a full time professional. His brother, Ken, has also been a professional.

Although he has never won a major ranking event, Perry has been a regular fixture on the world stage. Perry finished within the top eight provisional rankings in 2011, and won a minor ranking event in 2015. He made his fourth Masters appearance and was in a fight with Ronnie O'Sullivan.

In the same year, he defeated Matthew Stevens, Marco Fu, and Jamie Cope to reach the semi-finals in the World Championship. He received his second ranking award. He also participated in the Xuzhou Open, and the Welsh Open. He fell to a 14th-place finish at the end.

Despite losing to Stephen Hendry (Graeme Dott) and Stephen Hendry, he still managed to place in the top half world rankings. He won the Welsh Open Masters, Xuzhou Open and the Welsh Open Masters on his way up to the top. He has also conducted courses to help others learn the game.
